The 2016 Summer Olympics are underway in Rio de Janeiro, complete with dream-dashing headlines and viral moments. I joined CBS This Morning last weekend to discuss the Russian state-sponsored doping scandal and how the International Olympic Committee handled the situation.
Men’s and Women’s Swimming dominated the first week, with the U.S. leading the way, thanks to swimmers Michael Phelps, Katie Ledecky, and Lilly King. As the swimmers swept up gold medals in both individual and relay events, fans around the world were celebrating their achievements, statements, and viral hits on social media. Check out my reactions to the top swimming moments so far and join me in the 2016 Olympics conversation on Twitter.

In Good Company with the Undefeated Champion Katie Ledecky
Was thinking I'm just like Katie Ledecky: from Bethesda, Md and went to Stanford. Similarities, however, so end there. #Ledecky
